A water spirit, known by the Norsemen as a Nixie or Neckar plays his harp on the shore.
“The Neck here his harp in the glass castle plays,
And mermaidens comb out their green hair always,
And bleach here their shining white clothes.”
Stagnelius (Keightley’s tr.).

Isolde the Fair proved to be an eager and gifted pupil, playing the harp exquisitely under Tristan’s tutelage and singing most beautifully with his accompaniment. Indeed, her singing was so magical that it could well be compared to that of the sirens.” - Tristan and Isolde

Hey guys! My latest harp cover is Song for Jolee, by Kamelot. Enjoy!

Posted 4 months ago

Lyrics from the bridge of Kamelot’s song The Haunting (Somewhere in Time). Currently working on a collab cover project of this song with Ethera.

I wrote this piece of music the other day. It’s called A Daughter’s Dream. My friend and fellow harpist Ethera told me to write a song about someone’s dream from falling asleep to waking up.

Dear Bard, What harp do you use?
merrimusic asked

It’s a Dusty Strings Ravenna 26 (it has 26 strings, fully levered). It’s made here locally in Seattle, but they do ship internationally. I’ve had it for 8 years!
